A Creative Place of Art & Inspiration
July Design is my home studio, away from the computer most days and designed to be an uplifting, creative place of art and inspiration!
My love of creativity was inspired by my Mom. ;))
Growing up, she made most of her own clothes and many for me too! I remember her always crafting and sharing her love of it and floral arranging, macrame and tole painting, teaching many classes to friends, family and neighbors in our basement.
She opened her own, very successful party supply store in her 50’s, taught more classes, learned professional balloon decorating and decorated dozens, maybe hundreds of weddings, showers and special events over a decade or so. It brings me joy to look thru her photo albums of projects and read the testimonials from so many happy brides and families. I’m so grateful to her for the legacy she left…, of creating, inspiring and sharing!
For me, what started out as a journey of color, paint, paper, ink and hand lettering through decades of arts and crafts, magazine collage, art journaling and a calligraphy class, has grown since 2015 to include wedding invitation design, calligraphed envelopes, custom calligraphed pieces, My Little Line of Calendars, Cards, Magnets, Art Journal Pages, Ornaments, Bookmarks and BIG Paintings.
Art is a way of caring for my soul.
